I am thinking of buying a deep fryer..again..the last one which I bought a few years back, stank the house out when in use,so I never used it after the first time, gave it to a charity shop, but am now thinking they may have improved since then.
So is there anybody out here who has one which they have tried and tested, advise me.
I have a Delonghi Rotofry which I use far too often, does my chips very well, but I wouldn't recommend it because if you don't stop the lid with your hand when you press the button it comes flying off .
Note: Deep fat fryers fires cause one fifth of all accidental dwelling fires attended by the Fire and Rescue Service in the UK each year. About twenty people are killed or injured every day in accidental fires that start in their kitchen, the most common of these are caused by deep fat frying.
