well, you wouldn't have found out on a dry day. Or possibly even in a light shower. I suppose you could have played the hose on it sometime, maybe while watering the garden.

I think I've washed it too many times to get my money back, alba. That may have been the problem.

I have a Barbour but the problem is, it doesn't have a hood.

I have just read the label and it says re-proof regularly using a water repellent spray.

Or I could try the NikWax, or buy a Shoffel. (Never heard of them before. Nice coats on the website, shoota, thanks for that)

Thanks Zac. I buy lots of things from Go Outdoors. I just didn't realise that I needed a new coat, until today.
