Does the 1001 Capet stain remover work? Does it remove stains for real? I've tried a number of stain removers that didn't work, and reluctant to just keep buying without being sure..

We bought a children's swimming pool that can be inflated/deflated to fit in our back garden. Is there anything we can lay under it so it doesn't ruin our garden turf/green since it'll be pretty heavy on the garden turf once there's water in it?

Lawn full of moss and weeds what can i do

what stains, how old? We went on hols last year to a rented cottage with cafe au lait carpet and our dog came into season. Used 1001 spray immediately we noticed a soiled spot and was very pleased with it BUT the marks were new and not greasy of course

makeup stains, about 2 months old. Also drink stains about 3 months old.

I hope OxyClean would work,bought it from ASDA (not Oxy Magic)

no I have been disappointed with oxy as well. Apart from renting a carpet cleaner and doing th holebit, I don't hav any suggestions, sorry

Woofgang,I saw on a previous post where u said u bought a Steam Cleamer from Superdrug for 8 quid.I want there but it was 14.99! Has it gone up in price? I went to the Barking,Essex branch. It has some blue on it.Why wouldn't you use it for Carpets?

yes mine was really cheap, they had them on sale. I would use it on a carpet, just don't think it would do much good!!

My husband swears by his car upholstery cleaner. We have all sorts of mishaps, red wine, dog wee(friends!!)shoe polish, my waterproof mascara on pale pink bedroom carpet and horrid tar that comes down the chimnet.The upholstery cleaner sorted it all. Not sue what its called but he would have bought it from Halfords. PS Keeps the upholstery in the car clean too!!

Buy some Carper power spray from Wilkos or some supermarkets. It is about �3.25 so quite expensive but excellent and works. You can even use it on wool carpets. Carpet Power is available at:

We had good results on older stains on our carpet/rug with No wet Wonderfoam we bought from one of the tv shopping channels, we didn't think it would work, but it did, so it might be worth a try, if not already done so?
