I do it every week and have never won anything yet. It is the luck of the draw. However I do think it is a bit cheeky of petersh1954 to ask for all the answers. I have had to work them out and I think he should do the same. If he had asked for one or two of the answers I might have felt a bit more generous but all of them is a bit much.

Many thanks for the answers everyone. Just to justify asking for the answers, petersh1954 is 60yr old and suffers from severe dementure. I am his carer and we do buy the magazines every week, we don't enter the competitions but find it very satisfying checking to see if our answers are correct. Once again, many thanks to those who supply the full lists of answers for us.

captain, you are right, most of the pleasure, or in my opinion, all of the pleasure is in doing the puzzles,
but it is also nice to be able to double check your answers, if they are available somewhere.
I love the Express crosswords, especially the sunday and monday £1000 crosswords.
Mr S and I spend ages with fact books, atlases, dictionaries etc getting the answers that we do not already know.
If i have time before I post it, I check my answers against those on Brians website.
Its a good job I did this week, Mr.S had spelt Amalgam with a u, quick tippex job before a trip to the postbox and fingers crossed for the £1000. X Lol

petersh, you obviously have access to a computer, when you have done all your puzzles, go on the computer and enter the comps, it only takes a couple of minutes, its free and you have a chance of a nice prize, I do every week, and yes, you can win, I had £100 from Thats life mag at the beginning of july and £50 from Chat magazine the other week.
