A teg or tegg is sometimes defined as a two year old sheep and at other times as a sheep in its second year...ie obviously not yet quite two. Does that fit?

36A Tightknit

Thank you Quizmonster, Shaneystar2 & Goofy for your help - Twinter & Tightknit fit perfectly and it's finished. Compared to our local weekly GK the 'generalist' is quite a brain stretcher, but good for me. Goofy - I've not heard of a gimmer, but 'downunder' we call a 1 yr old a hogget - Cheers to all
