Ab Freezing In Firefox

As the heading suggests for a couple of weeks now I get frequent bouts of AB freezing. It would seem to occur whilst the ads are loading and when it returns usually after closing Firefox via task manager,and restarting Firefox, the ad blocks are blank. For the time being I am using Chrome which hasn't repeated the freezing episodes. No problems with other sites and general browsing.

Any ideas what is causing this.

Try resetting Firefox. (First go to Tools > Add-ons and note the names of any extensions that you want to keep, as you'll need to reinstall them. Then go to Help > Troubleshooting Information and click on 'Reset Firefox'. Then reinstall your extensions. You won't loose things like your bookmarks or other personal settings).

Thanks for that Chris. Reinstalling Firefox hasn't cured it so will continue with Chrome. May try your suggestion in the second paragraph though.

Hi - we think we found to advert which was causing the issue. Can you try again and let us know how you get on? We've not suffered the kind of "freezing" you're talking about since, so hopefully you won't either.

I had so many problems with AB on FireFox I now use Chrome, without a problem.
