Not only Cliff, but ALL celebs, politicians etc. When an allegation is made against them why do they feel the need to issue a statement saying that 'there is no truth in the rumours and allegations made against me', they all do it, I have never ever heard any of them say, 'fair cop, I'm guilty as hell'!!! Why not just say nothing instead of trotting out the same bleeding tripe, no doubt solicitors and lawyers are making thousands out of just copying and pasting the same document with a few name and details changes!! Rant over!!

I think it's very normal to respond to allegations made against you, if they didn't people would be band wagon jumping in all directions saying ' Well he hasn't denied it has he?'
We're they looking for Botox I wonder?
Because they are advised to.
Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't
^ exactly
Got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning saint??lol
The next thing people will be saying is that he is guilty by association...what with a fair few of his friends and associates being peadophiles
They feel the need to say something. After all, most of these celebs earn their living from commercial means, so I guess they see it as essential to deny allegations before their revenue is affected.

By the way, there was a report yesterday, that Rolf Harris is doing a roaring trade in signed portraits of other prisoners. Not sure what is used for currency...cigarettes perhaps ?
often they the artist] asks for money to be sent by relatives to the home address of the artist, when money has been confirmed as received they do the portrait etc, no money changes hands in the actual prison, don't know about Rolf H needing the money though he might be doing it for free to stop getting beaten up as a nonce.
Dee sa...probably right !
