Murder Information Required,....

Who could I contact for information about one of my barmaids 35 years ago, in Dover, who was strangled by her boyfriend on the premises.

I have contacted the Dover Express and the local library with no results, unless I went there personally, which is to far for me.

I have searched on Google etc, but no luck, and the pub/restaurant was called 'The Crypt Tavern' which was burnt down not long after I left.

How about the court that dealt with it? You might need exact names and dates though, even then I don't know for sure if they can give out information to someone who wasn't directly related or involved.

What is it you'd hope to find out about her trt? Are you hoping to trace the family or to find records of the murder investigation or what?

Do you have a date for the murder? I know (from Google) that it burned down in 1977, but there seems to be no mention of a murder on an earlier date.
