I don't know if anyone is going to be able to answer this? When I called my blood results for my thryoid they said they were normal 1.52 TH... Does anyone know what 1.52 TH means?

I know you'll all say "ask your dr" but my dr surgery isn't very helpful (when I can get through to them!)

Thanks

TH means Thyroid Hormones.

Your thyroid is responsible for regulating your metabolism and organ function and appears to be functioning within the normal ranges.

Thank you... but I meant the number 1.52! I should have specified!

Measurement of Thyroid activity is by monitoring the levels of the following;
Thyroid Hormones = T3 and T4
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone = TSH

Reference ranges for all of these have been established for local populations. The result quoted to you sounds to me like the T3:T4 ratio.
a T3:T4 ratio of around 1.5 is considered normal.
