Not 'down-town Chicago' during the days of prohibition, but here on the streets of our capital in 2013, what have things come to?

But why it took 10 weeks to find them guilty and they have to wait till September before sentencing, is anyone's guess?

There were many charges to consider, not just the murder itself, and there was a fourth person charged alongside them albeit with different offences.

10 weeks seems a long time, but "The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine".

Let's hope that these poor excuses for human beings are removed from society forever.......or even longer than that!

Probably have to wait until September so the Judge can be as lenient as possible without media attention. Musn't affect the little darlings ooman rights must we?

IMHO scum like this should be strung up. Yes, I said scum Mickey and I dont care if you boycott my post because of it.

As for 10 weeks to find them guilty. I dont think we should knock our justice system. Bette than trial by media ! And it should ensure there is little chance of an appeal.

NJ - can you shed any light on why that might be.

I'm hoping that they serve a full life sentence. Anything less in these circumstance would seem bizarre.

A shambolic botched affair leading to the ruination of many lives. Let's hope for the harshest punishment possible when sentencing day comes...
