Only joking but last week on his thread about not being on CB for a day I breezily answered it wouldn't bother me. So, Thursday our router broke and still not fixed as we speak. So no AB, no internet, no e-mails..I've been going spare. Could you cope for a week without the internet??

I only just managed to stay sane for two days over the weekend with that java thingy interfering...;-) A whole week...I'm not so sure!

I'd be cold turkey without the internet and would probably go to the local town for free wifi or catch up with my usual haunts from work. No I couldn't cope without it for a week unless I was too sick to care.

I'm shortly off to France where I have no computer, no TV, no phone and no radio.......

It doesn't bother me, if those things are there I'll use them. If not I'll do something else.

I missed it all luckily. Well I'm back on but it's painfully slow, I can only have one tab open at once and no-one's avatars are showing. TalkTalk say it takes 24 hours to settle down. We shall see!

I'm with SKY Prudie, I checked & re-checked my Secuity, DE-Fraged, checked everything & in the end, switch off AB, the following day Mon, all was well. try a full clean up.
