Your timing is out, recheck it all including the valves, distributor and firing order.
This sounds like classic case of removing the timing belt to change the head gasket and putting it back in the wrong timing position, What is happening is that the inlet valves are not in the closed position when the ignition makes the plugs spark and the explosion can escape back through the air intake.
Don't try starting the engine again until you have verified the correct location of the timing marks for the cam belt.

hi there thanks for the reply, yes i have notied that the timing belt is loose, but on the pull eyes, there are no timing marks so how can i find out where the timing marks r suppose to be?
buy a haynes manual and it will tell you how to time the engine. probably by pins through holes in the various parts. you can also use the manual to learn how to do other jobs on your car, amazing!
