I don't watch this as a rule because to be fair, its crap. My question is, why do they have fairly decent guests on here just to make them sit through a load of random *** about mmmmmmm... Apples. For example Jon Hamm. Quite famous american actor, they give him a whole 5 Minutes to talk about his new movie, series etc and then subject him to a load of old *** about apples or bring on some random people talking about diabetes. Fair enough, it's an interesting subject but the actor just has to sit there through this and they must be wondering why they are there. I'd rather find out more about him than a bunch of apples or iguanas.
Both presenters are crap as is the programme just way to promote bbc gubbins
most guests look bored at least few i have watched
pr for books films bbc tv tosh
Whilst I agree its early evening fluff, i have read that many of the guests really enjoy appearing because its not the usual question and answer talk show and they are encouraged to get involved in other things going on in the show. The presenters have a tough job or making it look informal but at the same time sticking to strict timings.
I don't like watching the One Show the format seems wrong, introducing the guest star hearing about what he does/did for a couple of minutes then stop him to move on to some pre-filmed item of nature or whatever. Alex's voice grates, Matt looks like a good boy who never tells porkies. The programme chops and changes, then goes back to the guest who by this time is half asleep. I turn to watch something else.
