Unable To Delete Photo Album Or Contents On Ipad 2

Hi!

When I tap "Photos" on my iPad 2 I see three albums: Camera Roll, My Photo Stream, and another called Misc.

I certainly don't remember setting up the Misc folder; it contains 5 photos I took way back when and I'd like rid of them AND the folder.

I have deleted several other albums with the edit / delete method but Misc seems somewhat special and won't go away!

Has anyone else encountered this, and even better, found a way round it?

Are you sure that 'misc' isn't a folder you are syncing via iTunes? If it is, the only way to stop it appearing on the iPad is to unselect it in iTunes.
