Little Boy Swept Away To Sea
13 Answers
I can't begin to imagine what this poor family are enduring while the search goes on for their young son. Aberffraw is SUCH a beautiful beach, and such a thing is HARD to imagine. Weather is now hampering the helicopter's ability to search. I pray I'm wrong and that this has a happy outcome, but I have a gut feeling this lad won't be starting a new term at school. Poor, poor lad.

We had skived off school and a crowd of us went to the beach to see the high tide. He was washed off the wall and found a a week or so later washed up on a nearby beach. Deep down we all knew the outcome but until the body was found you live in hope!
It happened to the son of my Mum's best friend when we about 6, but it was in a weir not the sea.
I think this particular incident is SO upsetting is that it's a beach our family have used for years and my son and granddaughter swim there regularly. I was driving along the coast about an hour ago and the sea looks so grey and unforgiving. It's just terrible. They've now sent in an underwater team and it's a shoreline based search, so perhaps he's been swept under the rocks.
