I was watching part of a documentary last evening but had only caught the end of it. I was going to watch the entire programme on iplayer this evening but cannot find it on ITV 3 which was where I had thought it was. Can anyone else tell me on which Channel it was shown please?

That is what I thought but I cannot find it on Iplayer. What was the title of the documentary if you know it please?
The Great Train Robbery, just checked and it's NOT on ITV Player...probably a copyright issue.
Just looked myself, stargazer. It isn't listed...
I'm assuming, but I could be wrong, that you are talking about the 1963 robbery. However, there have been a few movies and books about "great train robberies". The book by Michael Chrichton is really, really great; I've never seen the movie. Click on his book under "Books" in this site.

Thanks for your input. This documentary is almost certainly a repeat with a lot of original black and white filmed interviews and yes it was about the 1963 train robbery.
you can only watch BBC programmes on iplayer
Since the programme was only and hour long, and you saw the end, could you not have then tuned in to ITV3+1 to catch the start?
I watched the program and noticed that it made no mention of "The Ulsterman".
