Just been and collected my daughter from work ( Tesco ) and she says that they are stocking the seasonal aisle up with Christmas chocolate, selection boxes etc. Aren't they a bit out of sync I thought it was halloween, bonfire night and then Christmas.
Christmas is several orders of magnitude more important to shops than bonfire night and Halloween put together. They normally start putting out Christmas stuff just as the schools go back.
I find it no surprise these days... the 'C' word doesn't exist to me until November 6th. Even though I know that was Christmases past we'll be inundated with it all very soon.
...and don't forget choc lovers it's last years stock this early.
I recall seeing some chocolates last year with a Best Before date in November. You always know it's coming to Christmas for the shops when the 2 for £9 offers are on.
