Worst was a week in Cornwall BC (before children) with another couple in a 'holiday village' where the owners' dog was in the swimming pool. Made worse by the miserable weather and watching the tennis (Wimbledon) bathed in glorious sunshine.
Best was 3 weeks in California for our honeymoon, staying in LA and visiting Santa Barbara and Desert Hot Springs.

Can't really do a most Memorable, TWR......my first choice of holiday is always to go back to Ireland.....
We did have fantastic holidays when we lived in Canada....it was so easy to take off in the car....I loved the wilds of Canada, enjoyed Disneyland, San Francisco and Hawaii and weird places we went to with MrG's work....I know I was lucky to experience it.....but I am happiest at home.....♣

Daffy, how utterly awful :(
I don't think I've ever had a terrible holiday, they've all been great but for different reasons. If I really had to make a choice then it would be a toss up between Boston with the OH, such a beautiful city with so much to see and do, and Kata in Thailand with the family.

best touring California with my late hubby, stopping wherever en route, second best seeing my son in Zambia after 10 years and going to the Victoria Falls together, worst ....was when our shar pei Taz was a puppy and we did not want to leave him so we took him to the Isle of Wight by car, firstly we did the crossing in a dog cabin every dog was behaved except Taz who winged the whole crossing, we booked a chalet on a dog friendly camp site, the chalet was filthy, the blankets had fleas, I spent a fortune on cleaning products and every time we had a bath and let out the water the kitchen flooded, we complained umpteen times and each time they said the problems were solved, they were not, we found out most chalets were let out to DSS clients. We tried the clubhouse but we were the only ones there and had to knock on the owner's chalet door when we wanted another drink, listed 19 complaints to the IOW health authorities & the tourist board when we got home and eventually we got our money back, the family that owned it wrote in their defence they had never had a complaint before !
