Before I use up my limited mental capacity creating an account what are the chances of me getting a supermarket to deliver some shopping to me today?

I have never used a supermarket delivery service so am completely clueless.

most companies are next day delivery services, although I know some supermarkets such as ASDA are trialling same day delivery in selected branches. So you might get lucky, depending on where you live.
have you thought of ringing up your local supermarkets and asking them?
I think you may have left it a bit late today. Mrs Z has an account with tesco for unlimited mid week deliveries which is only £10 a month and you can organise deliveries for relatives (v useful if you have elderly or ill people in the family). She also says we have been saving a small fortune on shopping bills as you aren't tempted by the crafty merchandising. The down side is they don't always have exactly what you want and I think there is a temptation for them to supply you with the less fresh produce.
very unlikely. I have just looked on my ocado, no slots for today (in my area) However, as ocado use warehouse type shopping rather than shops, you can never get a same day slot

Thanks, I suspected as much.

Back to the drawing board :-(
Can you not get to the shop today, Eccles? Are you unwell?
I'd do a shop and drop for you myself, if we weren't currently oop north, give me something to do on a Sunday.... :)
Hope you feel better soon x
