Not sure how it can be left out TWR ! Its been the only thing of note about him for years, since he ran from Wales, after having been a prominent Welsh Tory ( yes, there used to be such a thing as a Welsh Tory )

Unless his private life is criminal and as he has been cleared of any wrongdoing in a court of the law the only matter under consideration should be his record as an MP and how well he performs for his constituents.

well at least the Tory grandees know their wives are safe with him ( and around half the grown up children )

Private life is a difficult one. One of our elected reps used to use his old age pension pass for travel to London and then claim first class fare.....which under the rules in 1990 was lawful - non receipted expenses etc - but my god after that whenever he opened his mouth we didnt believe a word he said.....he also had the reputation of going at the secretaries like a bunny rabbit. John he was called - nick named rubber Joh.......
but we didnt object to him scr+wing around as much as taking our money .....
