I'm afraid that the sight of three posh boys in effect bursting into the classroom declaring 'please sir, the bus was late sir, sorry sir' will do nothing to help the Unionist cause.
It does, however, demonstrate their sheep-like qualities perfectly.
I fear you may be right Obiter, but I don't see how they have any other choice in the matter. These three are, rightly or wrongly, the Leaders of our main political party, and to not show their heads above the parapet would be unforgivable.
Naa PMQs is of minor importance, just a baying match for the cameras, It gives the back benchers a bit of sport now and again and gives the septics some amusement but it's largely irrelevant. Now the 3 Amigos visiting Scotland I think may be a mistake though. I can't see it turning any yes votes into nos but it may well turn some undecideds.
I still think the Yes votes are a bluff. Salmond knows they won't win but is using this scare tactic to gain as many concessions out of Westminster for Scotland before we all settle back down in a nice cosy union. Not for nothing are the Scots called canny.
I may have misjudged david and ed, I had no idea they felt so passionate about the Scottish people., we even supplied the sunshine for today's visit boys, you should have taken advantage of the rare sunshine and had you're ''speeches'' outside.
I think aog was joking about that.
For one thing the other referendums WERE illegal, and for another the people responsible for them went ahead and held them anyway
