Well I just hope that with insurance and all the money from donations they can rebuild a bigger and better home for the poor mutts!
And help more unfortunate dogs as well RATTER. At least then a bit of good has come out of this tragedy.

Almost £1 million now. This just proves what a nation of animal lovers the majority of the British public are :)
That is just heartbreaking. I will make a donation, but too late for some:'(. What is wrong with people??
Gone through the £1m now. What a pity it's taken such a terrible tragedy for this to happen.
It's heartbreaking, how terrifying it must have been for those poor dogs doesn't bear thinking about.

I'm glad (as much as you can be with this kind of charity) that it has gone national so that they can get the centre rebuilt and carry on the good work that they were going.

Quite a few stories of locals who went in to try and rescue some of the dogs on the local news.

Very sad and sickening. It says on that link that the police are questioning a 15 year old boy.
I'm sure most of the local reports I've read have said it was a 15 year old. I saw something about him having been recently attacked by a dog but don't know how true that it, no excuse though, an unbelievably cruel thing to do.
Too late eve, I beat you to it (£1m) @ 19.58. Race you to the £2m!!
