Cannot Txt Friend & She Cannot Txt Me...

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 on Three network, and my friend has an Iphone ,, also on Three. We txt every day , several times, but one day 2 months ago I didn't hear from her . That eve she messaged
me on FB and asked if I had got her txts. No I said. So she txt me whilst I was online and I had my phone next to me. No txt came thru. So I txt her - same thing - she didn't get my txt. We tried endlessly but nothing arrived at the other phone. We have taken batteries/Sim cards out. deleted each other as contacts and re entered details but nothing works. We have separately spoken to Three who are baffled and can offer no explanation. We have also checked that we haven't blocked each other and we haven't. Anybody else ever have this problem??

Try turning off iMessage on your iphone - force it to use 'old fashioned' sms texts for everyone.

It's in 'settings' 'messages' - set iMessage to 'off' (no green light showing)
