Good Luck Today Our Scottish Abers
35 Answers
Good luck to all our ABers and the Scots at large with the referendum today and that Scottish families and society at large unify around whatever the result is - and move on without incident or dissension. Otherwise, democracy has paid a large price.
Thomas More in 'Light of the Harem' wrote, "Alas! how light a cause may move Dissension between hearts that love! Hearts that the world in vain had tried, And sorrow but more closely tied; That stood the storm when waves were rough, Yet in a sunny hour fall off."
I hope that we quickly see unified families and a nation rising out of the ashes of this vote. Others want to join me in wishing our colleagues the best for today and in going forward as the Scotland most of us cherish?

Let's hope you get the right result for Scotland, and it doesn't get hijocked along the way!

Jeffa not so much a drawbridge, Scotland would not be part of the union with the rest of the UK, there will be no turning back if the Yes votes win. Some of them may really think about it and not be co-erced into voting Yes by their close families and friends. Foreign workers living there and young people of 16/17 years old deciding how they want to live in future, do they seriously know what it all means to them, and do they believe all that Salmond and Sturgeon have been telling them.
