Oh I am so annoyed. For weeks now our cat has been off her food. I've been trying to tempt her with her favourite things but just the odd half-hearted crunch or licking off of gravy from her whiskas lick and chew. She's getting on a bit and although not losing weight looked a bit dull in her coat so I took her to the Vets and she checked out ok. The vet asked if someone else could have been feeding her -this never crossed my mind so she suggested writing 'do not feed' on her collar. I did that a couple of days ago and bingo -she's started eating her food again. Why oh why do people feel the need to feed random cats? Its not like she looks like a stray , she's plumpish, she has a collar and a tag with her name and my mobile number on it. For heavens sake I wish people would mind their own business.

lol @ Ummmm my cat is the same. I'm treated with disdain as the servant and provider of food. OH is her boyfriend, she will sit and lick his ear if he let her (which he doesn't he hates it) and youngest son her best mate.
Retro, cats are domestics & can happily live indoors with owners that want to restrict their foraging.
Strange thing is....my older son is such a lovely person. He only has to get eye contact and the cat does a runner.

He's a cute cat though
Dusty....my OH points at his mouth when he's hungry after watching 'Simon's Cat'

Drives me nuts....
