Yes, Joan Baez was wonderful..as always...

She had her son Gabe playing which was nice.....one other chap...Dirk Powell....a brilliant musician and a lass, Grace Stumberg... who sang a couple of songs with her...

It felt like an evening in a folk club....just brilliant.....x

Gness I have an old tape of a Joan Baez 60s LP that I recorded from the vinyl record. I play it in my car all the time, scratches, clicks and all. My favourite tracks are 'Farewell Angelina' and 'It's a Hard Rain's Gonna Fall.' That last one just about accompanies my trip down to the local newsagents in our nearest village, about 7 minutes or so and the bass accompaniment on that is superb.

She sings Dylan's songs better than he ever could.

Hi, Cory...I think I have everything she's recorded and she kept me sane on late night journeys to and from the hospital......a different voice now but just as wonderful.....x
She's on in Cheltenham soonish, I'm thinking of booking tickets for my daughters birthday, she is a fan, do you think it's worth the gamble.
