Dont know if this is the right area.I have a 48"x15"x15" tank I want to use an external filter.Can anyone give me an idea of the size of filter required?(flow rate).According to my maths the tank capacity is 285L

You'd probably want to look at something like a fluval 406 or a tetratec EX1200 (which is what i use on my 450 L)
