Was working at the above Credit Union last night and another very young volunteer (lovely manner) was on with me. Her and I had to calculate our monies at the end of the night and I couldn't believe that she spelt "cheques" - checks. She just left school in June - how come she would not have been pulled up on that throughout the years. She is brilliant on the computer.

I've just flicked back through my cheque book and I have written a handful of cheques in the last five years. The majority of my transfers are by BACS now.

Times move on, without a spell checker I wonder if a I could spell guinea?

My neice got a degree in English a few years ago; her grammar is appalling and her writing is so bad that I'm unable to comment on her spelling.
As we are with yours, bhg. Lol........
