Whoever dreamt up getting us all to drink skimmed milk was a genius… and is probably very rich, by now.
People are fatter than a decade or so ago, too. I'm not saying there's a link or anything but it's a curious coincidence, nevertheless.

I think brunost is really a form of fudge. Some friends who saw it being made said that it was just milk boiled up with brown sugar, so not really a cheese at all.

I've never really understood why the BBC news site keeps displaying links to stories. It gives the false impression they're current.
I'm not aware of any subsequent cheese related tunnel fires in that region, so I should think the Norwegian transport authorities have put measures in place to prevent them.
