When we saw India's satellite being launched earlier this week my husband commented that we send £280million in aid to there , so how can they afford a space programme? A readers letter in my paper today also commented on the amount sent while we have food banks, homeless people and pensioners who have to choose between heat and food - surely charity begins at home?

My thoughts entirely. I guess the money doesnt go to the right places.
Hence Nigel Farage proposes tax cuts and nil tax for minimum wage earners. They're asking how can he afford to do it? As he has proposed, he will massively cut foreign aid, and not before time!
Hear hear agree totally.
