Can anyone recommend a reasonably-priced (less than £50/double room) in the Wakefield area? Don't want to spend too much so although Travelodge would only be £34/night, that's without brekkie. Am I being unrealistic on the price? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Without knowing when you want to go or for how long, it's impossible to price up a room, but give this a try:

Thanks for the suggestion, hc. Only need 1 or 2 nights next week so will give them a call as it looked very nice. Should have put this in travel section really.

Different rates for mid week and weekend, usually. Hope it fits the bill
