bit of a silly question i guess.

the word PEPSI, when viewed in a mirror could read 15939 or 15-9-39. one of the lads at work claims that was the date pepsi was invented/first put into production.

antone know anything about this ?

I would say that it is a nice idea - but a myth.

This quote from the Pepsi site:-

Also, as it's an American product, they're more likely to have written the date as 9-15-39, in which case it would be called PESIP. :-)

in addition, i doubt they would have the time, space, money or security to invent a drink only a few months into the beginning of world war II... just a thought
