Glue On Sweater

Not sure where to post this, but my Grand-daughter has glue on her school (acrylic) sweater, she assures me that it certainly was not her fault !!
Just about to put in to freezer to see if I can scrape off, unless anyone has any other brilliant ideas?? Many Thanks

Probably depends on the type of glue...there are several different types. The freezer idea is a good idea to try first, though.

Thank you, the offending sweater has been in the freezer,no luck, have tried heat etc, still no luck, now it is destined for the bin!!

How much glue is on the sweater and what does the mark look like. I would be inclined to let said grand daughter wear it till she out grows it. They way kids grow it won't be for long.

I thought it was going to be more akin to 'spray on jeans' :-(

A "glue on" sweater does sound more interesting I agree. Could start a whole new trend !! Brinjal reply, quite a bit. I think children at school could be quite hurtful if my Grand-daughter were to have to wear said sweater. Many thanks, to all, it is going in the bin and I have just ordered a replacement.
