Eid Celebration Party
10 Answers
I have been fortunate enough to be invited to share in the Eid celebration with a Muslim family and would like to know if there is anything I should know so I don't embarrass myself or worse cause offence. Is there any etiquette that I should know? Should I bring a gift and if so what should that be.
Basically any information would be much appreciated.

Being a Muslim, I would say that you do not have to do anything special. If you were coming to my home then I would say that your presence is all we need. That is what islam says but people may think and do things differently depending upon what part of the world they are from. so perhaps a box of chocolate or Asian Sweets would do. And be ready to eat lot of food.

I take back any and all previous comments, by me, to the effect that it's one better than having a lion's jaws clamped around the windpipe. At least lions get the whole thing over with in under three minutes (including the chase).
To be fair, the rest of the world probably despatched their livestock in exactly this way until the 19th century.
