Cancer Tumour To Leukaemia?
27 Answers
I was wondering if anyone here knows if it's possible for cancerous tumours in organs to metastasise in such a way that the sufferer develops leukaemia.

Hi Cloverjo, know all you're going through both for my father first and many years later my mother. To answer your original question, there is a programme on ch4 coming up about cancer, and in one of the ads,it comes out that that someone who had leukaemia, developed cancer as a direct result of the chemo therapy then. That may be the link you were thinking of. Big hugs to you at this time x
Methyl, "time-consuming", yep it is that, for sure! You seem to have a great mental attitude to this. Glad you are ok.
Bunkmoreland, sorry to hear about your parents. Nightmare, isn't it?
Regarding my original post, TBH, I'd never heard of anyone developing leukaemia as a secondary illness after a tumour, but a couple of my mum's symptoms seemed so similar, I thought it might be worth asking on here.
How awful for the person in the tv program to get cancer after chemo for leukaemia.
