Had quick look at paper today .Front page is photos of so called celebs all dressed up .Okay they are entitled to do so good luck to them .My moan is that these people were selected to be at an award show for people of outstanding bravery ,kindness and overcoming adversity in there lives . So why are the afore mention all slicked up and posing for the cameras it is not about them so who is to blame the press or the wantabes.

I think their choice of clothes for a charity event were totally over the top and proves money can't buy taste. I agree with the OP in that there is not place for sparkly gowns and posing at a charity event, it it not about them. There is a vast difference between wearing ball gowns or jeans and runners as one person suggested. A nice Chanel evening suit or demure black dress is more suitable for this type of event.
