Airing Cupboard Heater

Hi all, I am looking for small heater for my airing cupboard. We recently changed to combi boiler and have now lost the hot water tank. We didn't want small rad in there as it would only come on with heating so no use in summer. Seen some on line but wanted to know if anyone had ideas as some don't seem to give out much heat at all. Thanks.

We bought a small electric radiator/heater from Argos to supplement the heat in the coldest bedroom. Seems to work quite well. Just plug in and go.

Yes, I bought a small heater from Argos and it's excellent and it's lightweight so can be moved to other room as and when it's needed

The general consensus seems that a cheap tubular heater of about 100W with a thermostat to control the cut-off temperature might do the trick. The key as to how much that warms the space and costs to run is in the insulation levels in the walls of the Roman, particularly any external walls and the ceiling.
It still might use 1kWh, costing 12p per day to operate though.

Thanks for the answers. Will try one of the tubular ones and see how it goes. OH misses having her airing cupboard, with no tank in it, it is bigger but at the moment there is no heat as these combis are insulated too well.

You can have a small rad and have the other rads turned off in summer. Boilers often want a small flow all year around so it can sense water temperature anyway.

Thanks for that Old_Geezer but for me to do that I need to have the hallway rad on for any of the others to work as thermostat is there.
