It taken the authorities over 40 years to finally bring charges against this man. Lets hope it doesn't take as long for all the other paedophiles that operated within the care sector.

News of paedophile activity IS fast becoming everyday news janbee...what a pity that news of the perpetrators being investigated and brought to trial isn't as common place.

sandy...since Savile, sadly nothing is unbelievable these days. I wish it were different but we are where we are, and there is no going back.

On the issue of child abuse, I am not convinces at all, that it is all in the past. Hardly a day goes by when Teachers, Priests, even a Paediatricians are exposed as paedophiles. What a world we now live in.
