Anyone watch this last night and what do you think of it? Robson Green is always worth watching but I must say I think he was overshadowed by the actor who played the priest. Yummy Yummy :-) He played a very sadistic rapist in Happy Valley so I can't imagine why someone would then cast him as a priest, but I'm glad they did.

Imo no one can overshadow Robson it's good to see him back on screen again. Loved DCI Banks and I'm really looking forward to the next series of The Fall.
I enjoyed this first episode. And the name of the actor in this and Happy Valley is James Norton.
i fell asleep ,who did it please .
i did it!

(the secretary)
thankyou .
I loved it, even if my mum was here and chatted through most of it...

I've not seen Happy Valley (yes, I live in a cave), so can still fancy the minister and not feel weird about him being a bad man in something else.

I love Robson Green, I think he is a hugely under-rated actor. Looking forward to the rest of it.
Did not watch as I thought it was another football programme ...from the comic
wire in the blood - he was excellent in that, i like his extreme fishing programmes as well :-)
Mr P watches his fishing programmes, fluff, and I admit to quite liking them too. He just comes across as being a genuinely nice bloke.

Wire in the Blood was fantastic. I hadn't realised there were so many made. They keep getting repeated on one of the Freeview channels so I record them to watch when I'm child-free. Something a bit odd about watching such gruesome scenes at 4pm when the kids are napping!

I liked Robson Green in Reckless with Francesca Annis and Michael Kitchen. Would definitely watch that if it is shown again.
I have Sip....but he was too quick for me..... :-(
My wife liked Robson Green in Grafters. Dunno why, he was always a vest, the scruffy herbert
He's definitely aged better than his Soldier Soldier co-star Jerome Flynn anyway.
Jerome has become quite the sexy beast in Ripper Street, apparently.
I like Robson Green & really enjoyed Grantchester...and yes Barsel, I loved Reckless too with lovely Michael Kitchen.
Enjoyed a 'gentle' crime story, but enjoyed the eye candy even more! Robson Green and the vicar (couldn't remember where I'd seen him before,he was a handsome baddy though)
I can't quite believe in James Norton as a good guy. He was so brilliant as the gorgeous but utterly nasty kidnapper in HV, I keep expecting him to rip off his dog collar and pound someone with a brick.
(I'm only half watching it on low volume while my OH has it on).
Obviously being very pedantic here, but the dog barking in the opening credits was a breed not brought to the UK until 1985! And the GSD police dogs in a future episode are definitely the modern type. Did also wonder about the clock in the inspector's office - looked like a modern battery operated one to me. Easy viewing though, even if there were a lot of clichés in the extras and the scenery.
