Local lads went to pub and got rattarsed. Local commie malcontent (aren't they always?) got them roused up and on being chucked out they looked for the nearest holiday cottage that hadn't yet been burned down. I was hardly a revolution, just drunken prats. I'm amazed they didn't burn themselves down.
When I was a BT Engineer, we had a Telephone Kiosk repair man that lived right in the heart of Snowdonia. He was suspected of being involved with
Meibion Glyndŵr ( sons of Glyndwr) a terrorist group. He was caught on one occasion with a container of petrol in his van, by his BT Inspector. He couldn't adequately explain why he needed this and the Police were called. I am not sure what happened to him, as he left BT shortly afterwards. He never liked me as I was an English Bar Steward apparently !
