Just had this emailed to me and it just goes to show that not all footballers are money hungry/free diving wage snatchers.

Well, I guess good for him, but, "...incidentally: Hummels is on £40,000 a week..." Looks to me that on an annual salary of £2,080,000 further money wouldn't be such a priority, quality of life would be.

Not that I'd suggest for a single moment that a salary of £2,080,000 would indicate a wage snatcher at all. I'm sure the world gains so much benefit from the entertainment he gives that it has to be worth, for example, 90 nurses caring for folk.

So, bully for him.
Hummels WILL (if not this season, but certainly in the next couple) move to a Premier League club. It doesn't matter how much he butters it up, but money does talk, and the way football works means that he WILL move to England in the near future. If he doesn't I'll happily eat my words and admit: yes, you are a true gent.
I have no sympathy for him. It would be nice to be earning £40K a year.
a week boxy, a week.
.

aaaah - that is really thweet. !

Dont you have to be on the transfer list - before you are transferred ?

Anyway that was why Canta was so beloved by Manchester
he liked the money - and pulled his weight.

his 120 h community service for kicking the lout ( who later said he was not surprised he was kicked considering what he had said ) -worked out very well for everyone as he turned out as games master for various schools.
Kids loved it and presumably learnt something at skool on that day
Several reasons for staying put.
He's already on £2m a year salary, not including endorsements.
He's got CL football.
Better chance of staying in his national team.
It's Manchester!
