Marianne Faithfull - Give My Love to London

Lucinda Williams - Where the Spirit Meets the Bone

All just wonderful - but the Lucinda Williams album is just staggeringly good - real spine tingling stuff - probably the best music I've bought for a good few years.

And therir combined age is .... 208 (if my arithmetic is correct) - still with more energy, talent and sheer emotional guts than a whole raft of xfactorgottalent wannabes.

Loudon Wainwright was another artist that we liked at the time. His first album blew me away !
