Unfriendly vibes!
28 Answers
I'm going out with a friend tomorrow night and there's another person who's going to be there who doesn't seem to like me, because whenever I'm with my friend, he ignores me and talks to her. I asked my friend about this and she just says that I should just join in the conversation, but how can you join in a conversation when you're being totally ignored. I don't know what his problem is with me, but I was kind of hoping for a bit more support from my friend on this. Is it unreasonable of me to expect this?

First of all thank you all for your advice, I really appreciate it and for the record Darthvader, I'm actually MALE, I should have corrected ANUSHIKA earlier on, sorry about that.
As for my Halloween night, well it all turned out a bit of a non-event, after all the initial worry, cos he never showed. My friend decided not to drink in the end because she didn't want to get into a conversation with this person if he turned up. She went on to say that she thought it would have been wrong for him to have excluded me from the conversation, just because he liked to have "one to one chats" and even went on to say that if I hadn't have been there she'd have had no-one to speak to! (though if he had showed up, I'd like to think that she still wouldn't have spoken to him)
The evening was great, my only regret is that I didn't know beforehand that he wasn't actually going to turn up, if I 'd known that I could have looked forward to it a lot more. Cheers :-)
