You can go on a Lo Carb diet and enjoy pulses...
Your body works best with a variety of different food types. You could look up food pyramid on the Net.


What you body needs to survive and what it thrives on, may be different.

I know what you're saying jomlett but just wondered. Maybe I'll give it a week on the pulse instead of carbs diet and see how my energy levels and weight loss is otherwise I'll be reportioning my carb intake :)

Oldgeezer what do you mean?
What I mean is Google "food pyramid" for information on what diet the body works best with. And even if you could remove a food type altogether and still live, it may not be good for you.
Don't just eat pulses, though...Ive been on a Lo Carb diet for 3 months and lost 8 Kilos up to now.

Thank you, Henrietta, I can't believe how easy it was to switch to the LO Carb diet and it's going to be my way of life for the foreseeable future.
Pulses/legumes *are* carbs...along with rice,grains, potatoes,etc.
I agree with Jomlett...go low carb. Its been shown that not only will a low carb lifestyle keep the weight off,done properly it will improve health in other ways. Its been adopted in Sweden and South Africa(I believe). Note the the word lifestyle and not diet.
