Grand Canyon tips?

Any tips on getting to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas in November? We're there for a few days after the Breeders' Cup meeting at Churchill Downs.

I'd agree with NORMANTHEDOG the helicopter trip is fab. It'll take about 3 and a half hours to drive and I don't think you'll get the same experience. The helicopter flies over the Hoover Dam and usually comes back down "the strip". Excellent views........enjoy!

Walk down to the bottom (doesn't take half as long as it says it does, just take plenty of water with you), admire the views, then walk past all the unfit, red-faced other tourists on the way back to the top.

The helicopter trip along the Grand Canyon is amazing.We did it last year.Also go to the top of the Stratosphere tower for a great view of Las Vegas.Don't miss Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas for the lighting display of American history all told with millions of overhead lights The margueritas at $1 a time along with the very good hot dogs at the same price make it a great experience
