I bought some sausages from a local butchers today. When I got them home I then noticed it said they are previously frozen and dont refreeze, which I bought them to do.

Could I cook them and refreeze them instead.

yes you can cook and then freeze. After cooking cool them down as fast as you can, I put hot food straight into the fridge to cool if I want to freeze it.
You should never ever put hot food into a fridge. We learnt that at school! It heats everything else up in there!
woofgang, hot food in the fridge!!

Whatever next!!!
yes that seems to stand out above anything else - woofgang as already mentioned you should never out hot food into the fridge, it should be cooled at room temperature before either putting into the fridge or freezer.
Mind you I have in the past re-froze defrosted RAW food and then defrosted it when I needed it but NEVER more then one time is that same item frozen again - hope that makes sense.
