Hi well results back from my scan....I havent got Osteoporosis I am so pleased. Havnet spoken to doctor yet just got the results. But that means I shattered the two discs in the bad fall I had. No wonder I have been in so much pain for a year.
sqad can I please ask you if there is anything I can do to relieve pain other than painkillers? Also what is the long term result going to be.? Would you have any idea.? Many thanks Brenda x

In answer to your question....there will almost be a deterioration in the condition of your spine over a period of time which may or may not involve pain, although it is likely that it will.
Big question.......pain killers. hot and cold pads and weight loss will be the mainstay of your treatment, associated with periods of rest ( don't sit at the PC for long periods).
There are surgical options, but these are way down the line.
With luck you may well be pain free for the next decade.
