After another testy day maybe some words from Desmond Tutu wouldn't go amiss:-

'Don't raise your voice, improve your argument'.

Why is it that civility is waning and that differences of opinion seem to be getting more personal?

Andy..I admit..I skim your posts!

Before you take it personally I have no agenda with you whatsoever, i'm sure there are many salient points within your often very lengthy 'tomes' :)

Therein lies the crux...they are very lengthy..

Can you do succinct....just sometimes....occasionally maybe...right, maybe just *very* occasionally ? ;)

That apart...News has again become a pseudo war-zone, I think the Ed is prepared to cut slack there as opposed to other topics but I think some are taking the pee. Personal jibes as opposed to challenging someone's opinion are poles apart.Just my opinion as a completely neutral observer :)

.......in the rough!
How very wounding!!!!!

I can get a bit carried, away (!) but remember, all my posts carry a copy of the post I am answering - sometimes another post pops in, so it can get confusing - so it's maybe not as long as you think (oo-er missus!!!)
Lol
Believe me it is !! :D xx
Think it's safe to say we ALL have out moments despite some who don't want to accept their failings... "no names no pack drill". When we get emotive subjects it wouldn't be human if we didn't get emotional about them

Andy, I'm sure Mrs H is extremely grateful for your endeavours! Have a good weekend too.

Zeuhl - you are correct, not having to face folk during dialogue in this forum ensures some rocky exchanges...
