well that's it nearly over for another year,
Thank goodness.
Parents are to blame for allowing their children to forcefully 'beg' at doors of private properties.

The kids will be around again in a few days time, asking a 'Penny for the Guy' ; perhaps even without a 'Guy' anywhere in sight.

Guising's a very Scottish term! There has been one child with her mother knocking doors tonight. I think it's become horrible - with a nasty vicious side to it developing if you don't play. I've got signs up telling people not to bother - I won't open the door.
