Watching Lewis now and trying to keep up with events from last week anybody else fed up with trying to keep up. We have The Missing which is eight episodes and other shows, a memory test for us all!
They do because they don't care a stuff about the viewers. All they're interested in is getting in the advertising revenue. If you don't watch the recorded episode together you spend most of the second episode trying to remember who's who and who did what to whom last week.
Shows like Lewis, Midsomer Murders &c were shown as two hour dramas. The repeats of then split them in half. I record them then watch both halves at once.
Not if you have a DTV recorder. It gives you the option of recording programme or series. Click on series and automatically any programmes with the same title will be recorded until you decide otherwise.
These aren't repeats though, and should not be treated so shoddily. They can make time for football, even foreign matches, so they can find a two hour slot and show properly.
BlackadderV, that's exactly what I do. Wouldn't be able to follow the plot properly if I didn't. Why ITV splits this series when they didn't do it in the other Lewis series is beyond me!
